Matthew ILf Bernabo and Galeas IL, mi three font of Stephen Vtfconti, brother of John, fucceeded their uncle in the ftatt of Milan, and divided it into equal portions, except Milan and Genoa, which the two laft individually held. Matthew dying without male children, the 26th September j 355, his two brothers inherited hif " portion. 9*
