Coniider how ferious a thing it is when the people rife up in arms agamft their fovereign, more efpccially fuch " a people as the Englifh. In fuch a cafe, there is no remedy ; for they are the worft people in the world, the moft obftinate and prc-fumptuous ; and of all England the Londoners are the leaders,, for, to fay the truth, they are very powerful in men and in wealth.
