Sir James humbled himfelf much before him, and faid, c Moft dear and redoubted lord, here is your prifoner, who has delivered, to the beft of his abilities, the meflfage you have charged him with/ Bajazet replied, c Thou art welcome, for thou haft loyally acquitted thyfeîf; and, in confideration of it, • I now give thee thy liberty.
