The bifhop of Liege, the barons of Hasbain*, and the magiftrates from the principal towns, who had accompanied the bifhop, now offered the king and his uncles a free entrance for their army into their country, to pafs and repafs, and refrefh themfelves with provifion on paying for it, and to remain there, if they fo pleafed.
