You would have feen, in this engagement, fixch knights and fquires as fir Mark Adremench, fir Thomas Avermerfquin, fir William, fir James and fir Alexander Lindfay, the lord Saltoun, fir John Sandilands, fir Patrick Dunbar, fir John and fir Walter Sinclair, fir Patrick Hepburn© and his two fons, the lord Montgomery, fir John Meffurel, fir John Gladwin, fir William Redoue, fir William Stuart, fir John Haliburton, fir John Alidier, fir Robert Landre, fir Alexan-der Rfunfay, fir Alexander Frazer, fir John Er-tapufcon, fir William Varlan, David Fremin, Robert Colomone and his two fons, John and Robert, who were ttfet day knighted, and a hundred other knights and fquires, whofe names I cannot remember i but there was not one who did not moil gallantly perform his part in this engagement.
