€ About twenty years ago, there lived a baron in this country, called Raymond, Iprd of Çoraffe. " You muft understand, that Corafle is a town feven leagues diftant from Orthès. This lord of CorafTe had a fuit at Avignon, before the pope, for the tythes of his church, againft a prieft of Catalonia : this prieft was very learned who claimed thefe tythes, wjiich were worth a hun-dred florins a year. He proved his right fo clearly that pope Urban V. in full confistory, gave a definitive judgment in favour of the priest, condemning the knight to costs of fuit.
