UL ÎUKE FREDERICK OF BAVARIA ARRIVES AT TtiÉJ ARMY OF THE KING OF FRANCE.*1—COUNT GUY DE BUMS* NOTWITHSTANDING HIS ILL HEALTH COMES TO ARRAS ATTENDED BY HIS MEN AT ARMS; INTELLIGENCE Was brought to the king of France, in the city of Arras, and to the lords with htm, that the English and Ghent men had raifed the siege and decamped from before Ypres. The king was eagerx to hurry matters and purfue them, fo that they should not efcape. He fet out from Arras, and came ' to Mont Sfc Ëloy, a very handfome abbey, where he remained four days waiting for the arrival of the duke of Berry. The army was continually increafed by thofe who came to it from all parts, and it was known, through the conftable, the marshals and sir Guifcard count dauphin, mafter of the crofs-bows, that " the king had with him upwards of one hundred thoufand men. The king departed from Mont St. Eloy, fol-lowing the road to St, Omer, and came to Aire, of which place the vifcount de Meaux was governor.
