KING OF SPAIN.-—IS SON JOHN IS CROWNED AS HIS SUCCESSOR.
fJC/HiLST king Henry refidcd at Seville, in the f ¥ heart 0f his kingdom, news was brought to him that the Eagliih had made an incurfion, and burnt the town of Soria, in. the name of the king of Navarre, * He was much enraged thereat, and fWore he would make them pay for it. He wrote, letters to his fon, John of Caftille, inftantly com-manding him to iffue a particular fummon3 through-out the kingdom, and tp affemble the nobles ; for that he fhould very (hortly be in Caftille, to revenge hinjfelf on the king of Navarre for the excelles which.he had committed. .
The infant neither dared nor wifhed to difobey the commands of his father, but immediately ifllicd the fummons.
