They immediately commenced an affault, but not gaining it dire&ly, they encamped. On the mor-row, they renewed the attack with fo much vigour that it was taken, and all within flain except the governor, who was from Lower Brittany, and called Yvonnet Aprifidly: he was given to the Englifh as prifoner, and the caftle burnt. They then marched towards another fort, called Befen-ghen, of which a Gafcon fquire was governor, whofe name was Roger de Morelac.
