There were alfo from the good city of Paris, from Rouen, Rheims, Bourges in Berry, Tours in Ton» raine, Lyon upon the Rhône, Sens in Burgundy* Orleans, Troyes in Champagne, Amiens, Beauvais, Arras, Tournay, Caen in Normandy, St. Omer, L'Ifle, Douay, from each city two or four butw geiTes, who all croiTed the fea, and ihortly arrived in London f.
The king of England commanded all his officers, under pain of incurring his difpleafure, to behave courteoufly to all thefe lords and their attendants, and to preferve peace between them and his fub-je£tsf as they were under his fpecial care.
