SURRENDERS TO THE ENGLISH.
'JpHE knights and fquires who had taken the lord of Gomegines, and overthrown all thofe who had followed him out of the village, did not wifti to Me time, but, putting fpurs to their horfes, galloped into the above mentioned village, calling out,4 Roye, for the lord of Roye P Thofe who were there were much alarmed at this cry, and furprifed to find their enemies fo near them, as they were chiefly difarmed and fcattered about, fo that they could not rally nor colleft together.
