ÉrtJch danger, landed at Crotoy*; from whence fir Hervé and his fuite went on foot to Abbeville, where they procured horfes ; but fir Hervé was ft ill, he could not bear the motion of the horfe : he Vras therefore put in a litter, and came to Paris, to king Philip, to whom he delivered his meffage, word for word ; but he did not live long.
