On the ge* neral merits of the execution the deciiion refis with the public, and where there is no appeal from the tribunal, it were vain to murmur at the fentence. The Life of FroilTart, corre&ed from my former tranflation, from the French of M. de la Curne de St. Palaye, with other preliminary matter, is pre fixed to the prefent Edition. As it could not be prepared in time for the quarto, it will be given in a fupplement, with the additions from the Breilau Manufcript, part of which are arrived, and will, it is A hoped, 4
