THE king of England was quartered in thé country round Beverley, in the diocefe of York, with numbers of èarls, barons, àtid knights of his realm ; for every one tried to be lodged M sear him as poffible, more efpecially his two uncles. Sir Thomas Holland, earl of Kent, and If John Holland, eari of Huntington, his bro-thers, were alfo there with a bandfbme company of men at arms. With the king was akftigfat from Bohemia, who had come to pay a vifit to.the queen; and, out of affection to her, the king and barons fliewed him every attention..
